The ribbed beanie is ideal for a beginner or someone just wanting a quick and easy hat to knit in a weekend. The beanie has a 1.5” 2 x 1 rib stitch with the body knitted in a 3 x 1 rib stitch. The beanie is nice and stretchy and fits cosily on the head. The pattern uses a soft aran yarn – the choice is yours. The hat in the picture measures (actual measurement) 18” circumference and stretches up to 24” comfortably

- The yarn used was a leftover jumper yarn that is soft and bouncy. Choose a yarn that is not stiff to give plenty of stretch for a comfortable fit.
