Behold the Elementary Rainbow Blanket! I’m almost embarrassed to post this pattern because it is SO basic but I thought it may be helpful to beginners. It is a granny square using clusters of 3 double crochet. I made this in Paintbox Cotton Aran and I have to say I love the feel of this yarn when it’s worked up. It’s the perfect summer blanket weight. You can make it as small or as big as you want by stopping or adding rounds so gauge isn’t really important. (I’ve noticed that gauge doesn’t matter in a lot of my designs lately. Hmmm…Could it be I don’t like making gauge swatches? Something on which to reflect!) Let’s get started!
