The Ella shawl fits the bill perfectly! Knit it in your favorite colors and tailor the size exactly to your liking. The pattern includes clear instructions, detailed charts, and guidance for size adjustments.
Size: 100 cm/ 50 cm, 43.3 in/ 19.6 in. It is very easy to adjust the size to be exactly as you want.
Yarn: The shawl in the picture is made using Filcolana Arwetta in the colors Snow White (100) and Black (102). You can also use any other fingering weight yarn (400 m/100 g).
Needles: Circular needles according to your gauge. The recommended size for fingering weight yarn is 2 mm–3 mm / US 0-2.5 . The sample shawl in the picture was knitted with 2.75 mm / US 2 circular needles.
Gauge: 26 stitches = 10 cm/ 3.9 in
Yarn requirement: approx. 160 g/ 5.6 oz, of which approximately 20 g/ 0.7 oz is used for the stripes.
If you modify the size of the shawl, adjust the amount of yarn accordingly.
