Product Details
Simple to knit, yet stylish and versatile fringed collar.
Fringing is very 'on trend' this winter, and as an alternative to shawls and cowls, I have designed this fringed collar, which can be worn in a variety of ways. Buttoned all the way up it can be tucked under a jacket for maximum neck warmth. Or it can be worn over a coat or jacket to show off the fringing. Knitted sideways in one piece including faggoted fringing on either one or both edges (the pattern contains instructions for both), in a ridged stocking stitch, with button fastening. The samples are knitted in DK wool, but any yarn could work and the length can be adjusted to suit.
