This hat is ideal for Spring or Autumn for girls aged around 5-7. If using a smaller crochet hook, it is good for a smaller child. In the pattern you can find instructions to fit a bigger girl.
The hat is a bit "French-style", meaning at the top it is not fitted, but rather baggy, to make it more chic.
