Product Details
Yarn: 100g (400 m) in 4ply/fingering weight The details in this pattern are for a 100g/400m skein. However, the pattern does explain how to make adjustments for skeins of 385m - 400m.
This shawl is designed using a traditional triangular construction, with increases at the beginning, the middle and at the end of each alternate row. Creating a patchwork of stocking and garter stitch sections. Reflecting a countryside walk through the fields and woodlands of Norfolk (UK).
Sometimes you will stride out purposefully through long kitted rows, other times, there will be trickier section changes. Or, you may want to go off down by-ways and knit the whole shawl in garter stitch.
Whatever journey you take with your shawl, the main rule to remember is: on alternate rows, increase at the beginning of the row, either side of the centre stitch and at the end of each alternate row.
