Product Details
The scarf starts on the top long edge with a “starting sequence” instead of the traditional starting chain. No worries starting on the long edge, you do not have to crochet a massively long starting chain, FSC or FDC. Then, you will crochet the first row along the starting sequence. Subsequent rows decrease down to the bottom point. It’s that easy! And it’s quick to crochet and is great for gifting.
Finding Calm uses one skein of at least 250 yards of DK weight yarn for a scarf you plan to wet block, or use about 310 yards of DK weight yarn for a larger scarf that you can wet block or leave unblocked.
I chose one skein of the lovely hand-dyed Optimum DK by Savvy Skeins in the color “Emerald Road”.
