Knitted on 4.5mm needles in Paintbox Yarns Wool Mix Aran, this is a good first Fair Isle project for an adventurous beginner - not too much shaping and aran weight yarn is easy to hold and switch colours. If your little darlings prefer bright colours, change it up and pick some rainbow brights or grown-up neutrals - the pattern sizes range from 2-3 to 10-11.
