Product Details
Easy pattern for a poncho sweater. I called it a poncho sweater because it is oversized & boxy. It is knitted from the bottom up with no increasing or decreasing made throughout the pattern. It is knitted in 2 pieces (front & back) and then sewed together. There are 3 widths to choose from: 22", 29" & 36" (22" width by 18.5" length is shown in the picture). You can make it narrower or wider by changing the beginning cast on but each different cast on will change the width by 7 inches. Stitches that are used in the pattern are: k2tog, k2tog through back loops, k3tog & yo. If you are comfortable following a written pattern this is a great pattern for a beginner!
It is written English (American) directions only
