Product Details
This pattern was commissioned by Inside Crochet magazine and featured in issue 118 (2019).
I remember I was always tempted to try a pattern for a fox stole, but cruelty free and animal-friendly….and colourful, bold and funny!!!
I wanted something easy, too. The construction of the scarf starts from the top of a granny square, following its upside-down V shape so that you work chevron rows. The muzzle is the more elaborated piece with the eyes and the nose to sew on but it`s attached to the scarf simply using fringes!!!! And it is a useful pocket, like at the other extreme just adding one extra granny square over the starting one : TWO POCKETS !!!! Do I have to say more?
If you find the orange version too bright, you can use the colour of your choice! I`ve crocheted even a couple of artic foxes using the same pattern, where white was the main colour! I think that even a grey fox, or brown or green will do !
