Freeform Christmas Panel

A freeform crochet project to use up some shorter lengths of yarn. I used about 60g of mixed weights: fingering, 4 ply, sport and dk in a colour palette of red/green/yellow plus black and white. Sometimes I used two strands of different yarns together. Although you could keep changing hook size, I prefer to work with a 3.50mm hook for everything. When making a motif, if I ran out of one colour, I simply changed to another to finish the motif. I limited the motifs to 5 relatively simple shapes - do more of the ones you like, less of the ones you don’t like. The motifs are applied to a felt backing. I made the size that would hang well on a door handle, but the size is easily changed. Pattern is written in English and uses UK terminology.
