To Substitute: Use correct length of any Aran weight yarn with a knit tension of 17/18 sts and 24 rows to 10 cm (4in) over st st on no 5 mm needles. For contrast use correct length of any standard DK yarn with a knit tension of 22 sts and 28/30 rows to 10cm ( 4in) on no 4 mm needles.
