Product Details

My inspiration for these Socks came from Broderie (Anglaise) Lace Frills you find on shirts, dresses or skirts as inserts or edgings.

Needles: 2.5mm ( US 1.5 ) | 2.25mm ( US 1 ) For samples used Addi 9inch and Chiaogoo 9inch circular needles. Tapestry needles to weave the ends in.

Gauge: 36 STS / 50 Rounds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inch, knitted in the round in stockinette stitch and blocked => using 2.5mm (US 1.5) needles

45 STS / 50 Rounds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inch, knitted in the round in stockinette stitch and blocked => using 2.25mm (US1) needles

Sizes: 1 (2) 3 (4). Finished Sock circumference: 17 / 22 / 27 / 32cm ( 6.7 / 8.6 / 10.6 / 12.6inch ) with roughly 2cm negative ease. Skeins of 100g sock yarn = 1 (1) 1 (2) for 1 pair of socks. Skeins of 50g sock yarn = 2 (2) 2 (3) for 1 pair of socks.

Heel construction: Yarn Over Short Row Heel supported with a video link for visual reference.
