Product Details
The pattern was originally designed and released to mark the completion of my good friend Susan Crawford's Cancer treatment, to honour the amazing women with whom she shared that journey, and to raise funds for the local Cancer Care charity that supported them through it.
The pattern was part of a yarn kit; a collaborative project with four of Susan's favourite hand dyers, Skein Queen, Old Maiden Aunt, Knitting Goddess and Countess Ablaze, and with graphic artist, Julie Nelson-Rhodes who created an iconic and original skein band for the yarn.
Originally designed using Susan's limited edition yarn, [Ghyll][1], it would also be fabulous in Susan's [Hand dyded Bluem sock][2].
Alternatively any sport weight yarn or lofty 4 ply will work wonderfully with this shawl
