Product Details
Garnish your outfit with this playful and easy to knit shawl. Borrowing the same colorwork motif used in my Garnet pullover pattern that emulates a string of gem stones or perhaps dollops of icing with some cherries on top, the easy and fun garter stitch stripes set off the bold eyelet and colorwork rows. A picot bind-offfinishes the shape with a little extra texture.
This shawl can be worked to a larger or smaller size by adjusting the number of repeats of the Garter Stripes Sections. Though the pattern was written for a dk weight gauge, working a thicker yarn to a larger gauge could also yeild a larger shawl if desired.
