Any yarn can be used with this pattern with an appropriate size crochet hook to create a tight tension, although other yarns may affect the size of the finished giraffe. Suggested materials: DK (8ply) 100% cotton yarn, 2.5mm crochet hook, toy stuffing and 9mm safety eyes.
