This is a pattern for an historically inspired cardigan (1890s Cycling sweater) AND modern fit cardigan worked from the top down and in the round with a bit of colourwork, corrugated rib (side seams), and puff/no-puff sleeve option, plus instructions for an optional afterthought pocket/pockets.
This pattern is intended for intermediate to advanced knitters who are experienced using charts. All colourwork motifs are charted as well as the yoke shaping per size to guide you with neck and armscye shaping. The yoke shaping is shown as a half chart, for example you will knit Round 1 reading the chart from right to left to the centre back st, then work Round 1 back from left to right to centre front. The steeks are not shown on the charts. You will also need to beable to find your place within a repeat and extend patterning.
