PATTERN NOTES The shawl is worked in the round from the center out, beginning with a provisional cast-on worked onto 2 circular needles. The first stitch on each needle is marked with a removable marker. Use the free end of one circular needle to work across the stitches on that needle. When you have enough stitches, you may work all of the stitches onto one needle. Once all of the stitches are combined onto one needle, you may continue to use the removable markers to separate the two lace patterns, or you may remove the markers and place a ring marker before each of the marked sts.
