Product Details
Hanukkah Square, worsted weight yarn, Ivory (30 yds), Blue (15 yds),Yellow (3 yds)(approximate amounts). Example in photo in Knit Picks Brava Worsted, Cream, Celestial and Caution. The square with tapestry crochet menorah motif is worked in rows and finished with an edging worked in the round. Chart included. 3.75mm F hook.
The square measures about 7". A little wider than long so if you need a more perfect square, try working the top and bottom of the edging in a G hook.
Not a difficult pattern but requires knowing how to change color and lots of concentration! Counting stitches is the key to success!
My original patterns now include several designs for Hanukkah and a new one is coming at the end of September. My patterns are generally paid but last year I made a Hanukkah rectangle available for free, so I’m continuing the tradition this year with this free Hanukkah square!
