Product Details
These socks were inspired by the happiness symbol, or St. John’s Cross, which Elsebeth Lavold discusses in relation to Viking artifacts in her book, Viking Patterns for Knitting: Inspiration and Projects for Today’s Knitter. Here, the happiness symbol adorns the leg on a background of garter stitch. Braided cables flank the happiness symbols and continue to the toe. Happiness Socks are knit cuff-down and feature a reinforced slip stitch heel flap and gusset.
