The written pattern is very detailed and give the choice to knit the hat in round with circular needles or in back and forth with straight needles.
The sizes available are 20 - 21 - 22 - 23 - 24 inches for the head circumference (child and adult sizes).

Gauge : 18 stitches and 29 rows = 4 inches (10 cm), in false English ribs, needles US 8. 22 stitches and 25 rows = 4 inches (10 cm), in K1P1 ribs not stretched, needles US 7.
