Product Details
Loom knit this Head Scarf to keep your head and ears warm when the wind is howling. It's the perfect way to get from your car into the building without giving you "hat hair". (Yes, I designed this for my 81-year old mother who refuses to wear a hat and "mess up" her hair!) The Hat Scarf is loomed on the All-N-One loom. The i-cord tie is single-knit first and then you move right into double-knitting the scarf body. You then go back to single-knitting to finish off with the second i-cord tie. The pattern completely explains every step and includes diagrams and picture tutorials. The sample was knit using approximately 220 yards of Knit Picks Kelbourne Germantown 100% wool yarn [#4-worsted] in the Peacock colorway. So the Head Scarf is light-weight, but very warm. Because of the increases and decreases, the single- and double-knitting, this pattern is suitable for an intermediate loom knitter.
