Product Details
Inspired by the Heavenly Cowl pattern, this lacy rectangular stole borrows the Heavenly stitch pattern which is placed at each end. Moving to the centre, the pattern changes into small diamonds, meeting in the middle with a beautiful panel of large lace diamonds. The stole is worked flat from two ends and grafted together, closer to one end, with Kitchener Stitch. One skein of SweetGeorgia Merino Silk Lace was used here. The colour is Boysenberry. Any lace-weight yarn may be used. Pattern includes notes, list of abbreviations, and is charted only. Finished measurements: approximately 43 cm wide and 195 cm long, after blocking. It is important to block the finished stole to open the lace pattern and achieve the overall finished size. Skills required: basic lace knitting, grafting stitches using Kitchener Stitch, blocking. Stitches used: k, p, yo, k2tog, SKP, SK2P.
