Product Details

A heddle is part of a weaving loom. The stitch pattern used looks like a woven fabric, but it’s created using knit, purl and basic lace eyelets. Heddle is a very simple top-down shawlette that’s modular. In other words, the pattern repeat can be worked any number of times, so you can work the pattern to the length that your yarn quantity will stretch to. With a picot cast-off for that special finishing touch.

RECOMMENDED YARN

4ply / fingering weight yarn. Minimum quantity 365m [400 yds]

GAUGE

22 stitches by 30 rows = 10cm (4”) in stocking stitch. Check your gauge.

TECHNIQUES USED IN THE PATTERN:

Knit

Purl

Decreases (ssk, k2tog)

Increases (yo, kyok)

There are both images and a video tutorial for the bind-off. The pattern has been professionally tech edited and test knitted.
