Product Details
The helicopter sweater is knit back and forth in stockinette in 4 pieces, front, back and two sleeves from the bottom up.
The front of the neck is lower than the back and the right shoulder is held together with 2 buttons to make it easier to pull over a baby or child’s head. The neck, sleeves and bottom are complete with a ribbed edge.
The chest has 2 inches of positive ease.
Intarsia is used to knit the helicopter design.
Mattress stitch is used to seam the pieces.
SIZES: 3mths, 6mths, 1yr, 2yr, 4yr, 6yr, 8yr
MATERIALS: Gauge is 22sts = 4 inches.
Colour A – 3 (3, 4, 4, 6, 7, 8) balls or 317 (349, 427, 477, 629, 758, 880) metres/ 347 (382, 467, 522, 688, 829, 963) yards. This includes enough yarn to make a 20x20cm swatch. Colour B – one ball (all sizes) or 6 (6, 12, 12, 12, 16, 16) metres/ 6 (6, 13, 13, 13, 18, 18) yards.
