Product Details

I have really enjoyed this Hobbii challenge, this beautiful Colorina yarn totally inspired me to create this shape so that the colour changes are highlighted, the mini pom-poms to give a pretty edging and to add the little holes so that the sun can shine right through!

Materials

5.5mm hook

100g colour changing yarn such as Stylecraft Cabaret/Lionbrand Landscapes/Malabrigo Washted/King Cole Riot (I used Hobbii Colorina - Spring Street)

Yarn Needle

This triangular pattern is worked from side to side, increasing until you have the desired height at the apex of the triangle, and then decreasing. The scarf in the photo was made using 2 skeins of Hobbii Colorina with a 5.5mm hook. Use the first 50g for the increase, and then use the second 50g for the decrease - this will make sure there is no waste and you don't run out.

This is a very quick and easy pattern, the mini pom pom edging is worked as you go along so it is a great pattern for using colour change yarn.

I saw this pattern on Face Book it looked fab. I loved it so much that I downloaded it from Love Craft šŸ˜. I did however have to substitute Aran yarn for DK yarn and use a 4mm hook it worked really well! I made my Sister-in-law the scarf and a pair of wrist warmers . She loved it too! I also made myself the scarf it's my favourite and I haven't stopped wearing it. Love love love it **
