These cute, high-top booties require only small amounts of sport-weight yarn in 3 colors.
According to the author's specified gauge, the booties are one size and measure 4 inches (10 cm) from heel to toe, and 2-1/4 inches (5.5 cm) at the widest part of the sole. They should be suitable for babies up to 6 months of age, depending on his/her foot size.
Finer DK weight yarn that will yield a gauge of 20 sts x 26 rows = 4 x 4 inches (10 x 10 cm), worked in sc on a size E/4 (3.5 mm) hook, may be substituted.
