Product Details

These are a quick and interesting knit in chunky/bulky yarn – both mittens are knit the same so no worrying about left and right thumb shaping.

One skein in each colour of the recommended yarn is enough to make two pairs in the smaller size, swapping the main and contrast colours.

Worked bottom up in the round starting with a waste yarn tubular cast on and 2x2 rib. Contrast colour knot stitch bands add texture, and these are separated with short rows to create the 'hinge'. Another set of short rows is worked to undo the bias before working the thumbs and top of the hands.
