Holiday Vehicles

In the sweetest pastel shades, here is a soft play transport set for little ones that will keep them occupied on summer holidays. The set includes a car, caravan, camper van, plane, boat and ice cream van. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the vehicles are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The ice cream van pattern incorporates intarsia colour-work, and the other vehicles use duplicate stitch embroidery (Swiss darning) for the finishing touches. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, and seaming to finish.
