You will need 1271 meters of Fingering Weight yarn. You can use all one colour or mix colours.
The pattern has instructions on how I mixed my colours. I used 20g of 1 colour, and 100g x 3 different colours.
This shawl has a beautiful drape, because you increase and decrease the whole way through to give it a bias construction.
I would say the pattern is intermediate.
