Product Details
The Hong Kong scarf is knit with a combination of a textured broken rib, and a modified intarsia flower. While it is recomended for those who are familar with intarsia, there are picture instructions included.
This pattern was tested with 2 different needle sizes: with US 6 (4 mm) needles measurements are 11 in (28 cm) wide, 79 in (200 cm) long (or whatever length desired) and gauge in the broken rib section is 32 st tall and 25 st across in a 4 in by 4 in (10.16 cm) square. With US 3 (3.25 mm) needles, measurements are 10 in wide, and gauge in the broken rib section is 36 st. tall and 27 st. across in a 4 in by 4 in square.
