Product Details

Easy knitting pattern for a cosy hooded jacket/coat in super chunky yarn

This pattern is designed so it can be tackled by a determined improver upwards with just two simple cables and an easy blob stitch for the main part giving maximum impact for minimum effort.

YARN. 1312/1400m of any super chunky that states a tension of 9sts/12 rows -10cm over stocking stitch.

MEASUREMENTS. Length to back neck 72/76 cm, sleeve seam 40 cm, around chest 120 cm

FIT. Oversized on a UK size 10, relaxed on a 12-14 (model is UK 10 and 5ft 3in, and wears the shorter length with standard length sleeves)

There are instructions for rib cuffs as well as no cuff, the sleeves can be made shorter for anyone under 5ft 2in or longer if needed.

Tension is important for this pattern as each stitch measures 1cm so it pays to knit a few swatches in different size needles until you find the right size for your own style of knitting.

Notes
The jacket in the shorter length only needs 1312 m (16 balls) of this yarn. You need two stitch holders but a length of contrast yarn will do instead
