Product Details
Hoxne is named after a small village in Suffolk, England, which was a centre flint-mining site for millennia. The shawl was inspired by worked pieces of flint - pieces which created clothing and secured food for our ancestors.
The shawl is knitted in laceweight. It is a semi-circle shawl with wide garter stitch sections interrupted by easy lace. Hoxne would make an ideal introduction to working with fine yarns.
The sample was made with Snældan 1ply. A suggested substitute yarn is shown below.
