Product Details
“Huwari” - airy in Japanese - is a boxy pullover with leaning cables on the sides of body, and with a large, warm cowl.
The pullover is worked from the top down. The fronts and backs are provisionally cast on and German short rows are used to shape the shoulders. They are worked back and forth separately to the underarm, then joined to be worked in the round to the hem. On completion of the body, the shoulders are seamed with three-needle bind off, then sleeves stitches are picked up and worked from the top down in the round. Stitches are picked up around the neck for the cowl, worked in 2×2 rib.
