Product Details
The Hyber Nation in Knit Cowl is a sister pattern to the orginal, crocheted version (Hyber Nation Cowl). Like the crocheted version, this cowl is worked in two colors and uses a spike stitch to create a feel of leaves floating on the cowl's surface. It is my hope that this pattern will provide peace and tranquility as you work to create a warm accessory for yourself or a loved one.
The pattern uses a spiral, knitted sequence for the mistake ribbing at top and bottom as well as a three spoke spike stitch for the leaves. It is recommended that the body of the cowl be worked in a solid or semi-solid color, and the leaves in a complimentary variegated color or a color that has a nice contrast with the main color. The yarn used in the pattern is a DK weight; however, the cowl could also be worked in a worsted weight as well.
Yardage for the sample shown: 231 yds/211m of main color and 50 yds/46m of contrast color.
