In the Ibo language of Nigeria, the name Ijeoma means ‘safe journey’ and this ruana is sure to make whoever wears it feel warm and snug whist out and about, it’s the perfect accessory for a cool day and can be worn in so many ways.'Ijeoma' is made in one piece. The finished size is approx. 149.8cm/59” x 104.1cm/41” (when laid flat), instructions are given on how to make the ruana longer.
The pattern includes both written and charted instructions. In total there are 3 charts (side border chart, central motif, and front panel), which at times are worked simultaneously. For ease of reading the rows in chart 2 have been shaded in groups of 12, making it easier to work alongside with chart 1.
