Product Details
ISOBEL - a becoming plain coloured spacious jumper in Shetland wool. The jumper is worked in rounds. The sleeves are worked flat separately for then to be joined to the body. The big collar is worked in Fisherman' Rib Stitch (Brioche Stitch). Accurate written pattern. Required skill level from 1 (basic) to 5 (advanced): 4↓. The measurements given throughout the pattern are all in cm as well as inches.
Yarn: this design applies for a 2ply Jumper Weignt wool, 50 g = ca. 210 meters. To use 300 - 350 - 400 - 500 - 600 g. The original model was made in 2ply Jumper Weight Shetlandsuld, 100 % wool from Jamieson and Smith, Lerwick, Shetland Isles.
Tension/gauge in pattern (washed sample): 25 sts on needles no 3 mm = 10 cm (4 in).
