These colourful mittens have tips that fold back to reveal half-fingers, which makes them conveniently compatible with cell phones, iPods, and other devices with touchpads. When they are worn in mitten formation, the tops are held firmly in place by ribbed flaps. Choose a springy superwash wool yarn for mittens that are hard- wearing, warm, and elastic.
The sample shown was knitted from Miss Babs Yummy Superwash Sport - 3-ply in Roasted Pumpkin and Cadet, and took slightly under 200 yards of each.
