Product Details
My sister-in-law, Jane, has arthritis in her hands, and particular trouble with the middle joints of her fingers, so she asked me if I could make her some fairly thin ‘fingerless’ gloves with fingers that were long enough to go over those joints. Since I’d recently been trying out making gloves, and had thus learnt the basics, I came up with these. I thought I might as well write them up and share them with anyone else who wants something like this. You can of course change the length of the rib, the fingers and thumb or indeed leave the fingers off entirely for truly fingerless gloves – just put a couple of rows of rib where the fingers would start.
