Product Details
This asymmetric shawl is worked sideways and uses the familiar three-stitch shell to create a gently increasing border of lace along one edge.
The sample uses 420 meters of light fingering weight yarn but you can use other yarn weights by adjusting the hook size.
Different colored yarns, such as gradients or color-changing yarns would also work beautifully.
Using only double crochets, chain stitches and slip stitches this is an undemanding project.
This is 7-page pattern with full written instructions and a hand-drawn chart which includes both US and UK terms. It is easy to make larger or smaller.
