The Jih sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down with raglan yoke shaping, using 2 strands of lace weight yarn held together to achieve this fantastic heathered fabric. Knitting starts with the cast on of the neck. Short-rows are used to shape the round neckline. A cute little star pattern is worked into the back of the yoke. Once yoke shaping is complete the sleeve stitches are put on hold to work the body first down to the contrast colored hem. Then sleeve stitches are slipped back on the needle to work the sleeves in the round down to the contrast colored cuffs. The contrast colored neck finishing is worked last. An optional twisted ribbing can be worked instead of the contrast colored body/sleeve/neck finishing.
