This shawl is delicately lacy and sturdy at the same time. The lace dayflower motif forms a field of flowers across the lower edge of the shawl. This pattern is written for both fingering and lace weight yarns. In addition to charts and written instructions, there is a section of guidelines for customizing the size of the shawl. Basic formulas are provided for adding lace repeats and adjusting the short row instructions for different stitch counts.
