Product Details
It was my mother who taught me how to knit when I was a child. I made a scarf or two, but I didn’t really get into it until after I lost her as a teenager. It became a way to process the grief and to feel close to her. Her name was Josephine and this shawl is dedicated to her. She had a very demanding job as a psychiatrist, so in her spare time she wanted to surround herself with nice things that made her happy and peaceful. She loved pink, beads, tassels and most of all she loved her beautiful garden. I wanted to do something special for the anniversary of her passing this year so I made this shawl. I know she would have loved it, and I hope other people will too.
