Product Details
Ju Hua is the Chinese word for Chrysanthemum. These multi-petaled flowers, representing long life, health, and endurance, have long been grown in China, since the 15th Century. Ju Hua is one of the “Four Gentlemen”, a series of four “honourable plants”- orchid, bamboo, chrysanthemum, and plum blossom- depicting the seasons in art and poetry. The chrysanthemum is known to grow in great temperate adversity and continue to bloom despite the cold of Winter...as I hope you will, with your new circle shawl!
This is a pattern for a full circle shawl, knit in the round. There will be beads and more lace stitches, rather than textured. I recommend [Miss Babs Katahdin][1] in solid or light tonal with no pesky joins to worry about! (colours- strengthening, roasted pumpkin, beast within, or girl's night out would be great choices).
~2700 beads to do a full circle, ~1200 to do the outline beads only on a full circle (there are 4 zig-zag outline bead edges)
