Product Details
This beautiful vest is named after a river in southern Iran. The river is wide enough for boats to navigate. The eyelet pattern reminds me of the waves and ripples created by moving boats. The vest is worked from side to side with an easy eyelet pattern and a V-neckline.
The vest begins with a provisional cast-on at underarm then the back is worked and the left front. The provisional cast-on is removed and the right front is worked. Since the eyelet pattern is worked vertical, it creates a flattering look. For making a better fit, I have added short rows at the bottom edge that goes up to the waistline. The button band follows an eyelet pattern too, creating buttonholes along the way.
