Product Details
I took quite a few art history courses in college, a fair number of them focused on the art of antiquity. When I began putting together some geometric motifs, they immediately reminded me of some of the earlier Greek pottery pieces, which often were decorated with repeating geometric patterns. Thus the name for this cowl is the classical Greek word for "pottery."
This cowl is worked entirely in the round from a chart. Two-color corrugated ribbing at the top and bottom edges adds texture and prevents curling.
To knit this cowl, you need to know how to:
knit and purl in the round with two colors and
read and work from a colorwork chart.
Note: Two skeins of the recommended yarn are enough to knit two cowls, provided you switch the colors for the second cowl.
This pattern has been professionally tech edited.
