The hat can be a snug beanie or add a repeat for a bit of a slouch. Pom poms welcome. Pattern features easy cables and some nice stockinette resting rounds. Charted and written out, knitter's choice!

Needles and Notions: US 6/4mm 16” (40 cm) circular needles or size to get gauge. Double pointed needles or long circular in same size for top of hat. US 4/3.25mm 16” (40cm) circular needles, or 2 sizes smaller than gauge needle, for ribbing Stitch marker Cable needle Tapestry needle
Gauge: 221/2 sts/34 rounds to 4”/10 cm over stockinette.
