Product Details
This is a pattern for a cabled wide scarf: 12 inches x 78 inches or your desired length. The wide scarf is knit with a sport weight yarn, and your favorite sport weight will work for this pattern.
There are two distinct cable contained in this pattern, one that is quite unique and rarely seen: the second a more familiar Aran cable.
The scarf is quite warm as it’s created with cable stitches even though it’s knit with sport weight yarn. The stitches are both charted and written out.
Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a working knowledge of cabling)
There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged. If not, no crochet hooks are needed.
Any sport weight yarn will work for this pattern, and it requires approximately 800 - 900 yards of yarn.
