Product Details
This is a pattern for a light weight wrap. It is made up of a single little known lace stitch that is both written out line by line, and charted. The stitch itself has a unique texture when blocked only moderately, or not at all. Blocked aggressively, the stitch will flatten out. It’s heavier than a shawl, but just the ideal weight for a spring or fall evening, or even if you’re sensitive to air conditioning in the summer. It knits up fairly quickly and would make the ideal gift, for yourself of someone that’s special to you. The final size is 17 1/2 inches by 72 inches. There are also instructions for an optional crocheted edging contained within the pattern, should you want it edged.
The yarn used in the sample is Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport in the colorway, Fresh.
