Introducing my first sock pattern!~
I have always had an interest in Japanese culture and folk law, with one of my main interests being the ideology surrounding the fox, or in this case, the Kitsune. I named this design/ pattern, ‘Kitsune Berry’ for that reason, with the main part of the pattern sort of resembling a fox’s head, the ‘Berry’, referring to the blue shade of yarn that I used for the majority of the sock. I had a lot of fun creating this pattern and I was equally pleased as to how it turned out. This is my very first sock pattern as I have normally stuck to shawls, mittens and scarves, so I would say that this was a very exciting challenge that I set for myself as a whole. I really hope that you enjoy this pattern as much as I have!
